In September of 1991, JTR Productions, Inc., sponsored its first OPERATION EDUCATION CLASSIC FOOTBALL GAME at the Pontiac Silverdome featuring Historically two Black Colleges. Alcorn State University vs Hampton University, (the first year Steve McNair played quarterback at Alcorn State University).

A college Fair was sponsored as part of the promotional activities for the OPERATION EDUCATION CLASSIC FOOTBALL GAME to expose area students to the advantages and opportunities provided by these Colleges and Universities. Other Black Colleges and Universities were invited to participate in addition to businesses and other local colleges and universities. The local public school systems were contacted. We obtained their cooperation by the local schools sending their students to this important event.

The College Fair was a full day affair, so as to provide an opportunity for any and all students to obtain valuable information concerning each of these represented educational institutions.

With the proceeds from the OPERATION EDUCATION CLASSIC FOOTBALL GAME, and in conjunction with the College Fair, JTR Productions, Inc. awarded twenty (20) scholarships to deserving students in the Metro-Detroit area.
